We have put this section of the website together for families of students studying abroad.  You will find a variety of information such as common misconceptions about study abroad, learning and credit transfer, cost, and health. As there are several international program offices at Iowa State (one in each ISU College), we have also included a page of contacts and links to those other offices on campus. Your student is likely either doing a study abroad program hosted by their college or the Study Abroad Center. If you aren’t sure which office is sponsoring your student’s program, you can ask your student or call us (515-294-6792); we would be happy to look it up for you. We will just need the name of the program.
